Linda Bresnahan began her career in assisted living as an activities assistant and later moved into several management roles in a continuum of care community before joining the leadership team as our Executive Director. She holds a degree in business management and is currently studying healthcare management at Granite State College. She is a member of the American College of Health Care Administrators. She served as a personal caregiver for her mother for many years, giving her a unique perspective on personalized caregiving for our residents.
Director of Facilities Management
Dan Hastie joined the team in 2016 bringing to the team over 20 years in facilities maintenance and construction. He keeps out physical plant in tip-top shape and loves working with the residents and families to accommodate their many requests.

Ed LaFrance, Founder of EvoLve Senior Living, is a renowned seniors housing advisor in the United States. He has restructured over $300 million in sector-leading, class A infill, urban and suburban Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC - Alzheimers and Dementia), and Nursing Care (NC - aka Skilled Nursing) with the top 4-5% of seniors housing owners, operators, and financing sources. Ed has established C-Level executive relationships in all segments of the real estate and investment community.
Following almost 10 years as an understudy and advisor to best-in-class seniors housing owners and operators across the country, coupled with his lifetime pursuit of self-improvement, Ed imagined, designed, and launched EvoLve Senior Living as a catalyst operating platform to heal our elders, their families, and society through a more natural holistic spiritual, mental, physical, and financial model of care. He has identified plus assembled the team needed, and funded the platform to own and operate multiple senior living communities from coast-to-coast.
Ed has been involved as an owner, advisor, and founder in many other successful ventures, and outperformed in leadership positions with major global platforms such as Sony, where he was the youngest member of management in the organization history, Harvard, where he served as an officer of the university as well as a controller for the endowment with direct oversight of approximately $60 billion in futures and options contracts across 120 portfolios in 14 currencies, and Enterprise, where he helped increase net profits more than 10x over a 5 year period in New England and guided other regional offices to similar nationally leading results. Ed has been a best practices leader and advisor to multiple top ranked Fortune 500 and Inc 500 businesses across several industries and disciplines for over 25 years.
Ed graduated Summa Cum Laude from Babson College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance / Investments, and a concentration in Economic History from the University of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. He and his family are 40+ year residents of the New Hampshire seacoast.
Director of Food Services
Jeff Perrotta holds a Degree in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu/Atlantic Culinary Academy. He began his career as a chef in gourmet restaurants in Ogunquit, Maine. He studied under James Beard Award winning chefs at Arrows, one of the regions first farm-to-table restaurants in the New England. He then spent 6 years with Chef Pierre Gignac at 98 Provence as sous chef before moving into the Director of Dietary role in an assisted living residence in 2012. He later joined our team bringing our residents his culinary delights. His career accomplishments include three Diamond Awards from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences and he is Certified as a ServSafe Food Protection Manager. Jeff enjoys reaching the residents through the fog of dementia with locally sourced comfort food
Business Office Manager
Meredith Yingling holds a B.S. in Management and Business Administration from Northern Kentucky University. She has a background in customer service, accounting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and ran her own bookkeeping services for small businesses. She joined the team in 2015.
Founder and CEO of EvoLve Senior Living
Benjamin Pearce is an expert in the senior living industry and dementia related care. He has over three decades of experience working with over 200 communities in 33 states encompassing over $1 billion in annual revenue. Ben has extensive experience as a published author of several books and as a public speaker for caregivers and supervisors. His book, Senior Living Communities: Operations management and marketing for assisted living, congregate and continuing care retirement communities was first published in 1998, and with a second edition in 2007 by Johns Hopkins University Press, it is now the go to handbook for effective senior residential facilities with almost 60,000 copies in print; in addition it is being used as the textbook in major university geriatric and senior living courses, and has also been converted into an online classroom for the certification of assisted living administrators in several states.
He is also the author of 27 eBooks on Amazon Kindle and iTunes covering industry related topics. He is a frequent contributor on senior living for publications such as Provider, Contemporary Long Term Care and Assisted Living Success. Pearce also serves as an expert witness for assisted living and skilled nursing litigation.
Mr. Pearce shares his expertise as an adjunct professor for Johns Hopkins University and New York University, while teaching a variety of courses about senior living development and operations. He is also a professor at the Institute for Senior Living Education, based in Connecticut, as instructor for the Executive Director Certification Course; and an instructor for EasyCEU.com, a continuing education provider. His courses have been approved by the National Continuing Education Review Service of the National Association of Boards of Examiners of Long Term Care Administrators (NAB) in all fifty states.
Prior to founding EvoLve, as former Chief Operating Officer for Bloom Senior Living, Ben managed all levels of care from independent living to special care units in 4 eastern states. Ben has also served as East District Vice President of Operations for Holiday Retirement, where he oversaw operations and marketing for 71 independent and assisted living communities totaling over $290MM in annual revenue and enhancing the lives of over 9,000 seniors daily in 14 states across multiple time zones. He was also President & CEO of Potomac Homes, Senior Vice President, Senior Housing of Genesis Health Ventures, and Vice President of Operations for Classic Residence by Hyatt. He has over his career opened and taken 75 newly developed senior living communities from construction to stabilized occupancy.
Ben has received a number of accolades and awards including a three-time-recipient of the Contemporary Long Term Care Order of Excellence, which is awarded to recognize outstanding operators and is an elite fraternity whose members have been judged by their peers to be the nation’s best.
